Mission

 

The mission of the Progreso Elementary Library is to foster lifelong learners by introducing and providing access to print and digital 21st Century resources for all students, staff, and parents. 


Progreso Elementary READING CHALLENGE 
Studies have shown that two months of reading skills are lost during extended breaks and that it can take up two months from the first day of school for a student's brain development to get back on track. In an effort to assist our students, our campus wants to encourage continuous reading during extended breaks. We challenge our students to "Exercise their Minds" and read 20 minutes each day.
